Max Rouquette :

Max Rouquette was born in 1908 in Argelliers in the Herault region. He is doctor of medicine and is the greatest known writer of Occitane expression.

Articles, novels, poetry or theatre… His works are plentiful and are translated into several languages. He is the author of "Green Paradise", has a collection of articles in several volumes of "The Unicorn's Torment", a collection of poetry and a play called "The Glossary" played by the Comédie Française in 1998. He is very fond of the vineyard that he owns in Saint-Saturnin de Lucian and has done much for the wine cooperative. He is the author of our logo "Pierres et Soleil" that is printed on our bottles.
